Sunita Williams is an American astronaut and former US Navy officer. Sinus has spent 322 days in space, ranks 6th on all-time US endurance, and 2nd all-time endurance as a woman. Sunita became a member of the International Space Station (ISS) on Expedition 14 and Expedition 15, and was flight engineer on Expedition 32 and commander on Expedition 33. Sunita holds the personal record of 50 hours and 40 minutes cumulative spacewalk time (No. 8 on the list of most experienced space walkers!) and was selected as one of the first astronauts for the US commercial space flights.
