Victoria Orphan is a geobiologist at the California Institute of Technology. Victoria was awarded a 2016 MacArthur fellowship for her work studying microorganism that consumer methane on the ocean floor. Victoria’s work is showing how microbes can play a role in sequestering greenhouse gases!
