Greta Thunberg is a Swedish climate activist who led the largest climate strike in history, with around 4 million people across 161 countries last week. Greta spoke at the UN Climate Action Summit, which she sailed across the Atlantic on a zero-emissions boat to attend to prevent taking airplanes because of their carbon emissions. Greta has long been speaking out about the impacts of the climate crisis, particularly for young people. Greta launched the “Fridays For Future” movement in 2018, encouraging students to demand action on climate change from their governments.
