️Dr. Katherine Flores was born into a family of migrant farm workers in Fresno, California. After witnessing inequalities at an early age, Katherine was determine to make a difference. Katherine attended Stanford University, where she began working with national and state Hispanic organizations to increase the role of Hispanic individuals in health professions. It was through this that Katherine decided to become a physician.
️Dr. Katherine Flores has established programs to encourage disadvantaged students to pursue careers in medicine, which provide academic support and health science enrichment.
