National Geographic and Mattel, who makes Barbie, have teamed up and created a collection of Barbie dolls showing women in science, research, and conservation. Entomologist Barbie shows young girls that looking at bugs and exploring nature is both fun and essential to some areas of science! While many women scientists didn’t see representation growing up, young girls are now getting introduced to these cool STEM careers!
